Please join us Wednesday, July 17, 2024 at our annual Volunteer Appreciation Picnic. The picnic begins at 6:00pm at the Kestner Waterfront Park in Houghton followed by an awards presentation at 7:00pm.

In addition to presenting the annual Volunteer of the Year service award, we will also be recognizing volunteers for the contributions to the organization this past year in categories like leadership, commitment, and vision.

Please take a moment to recognize a valued volunteer by submitting a volunteer of the year award nomination. Nominations must be received by July 3, 2024 to be considered. Verbal nominations cannot be considered in fairness to all candidates.

LBFE will be providing the traditional BBQ meats of brats, hotdogs, hamburgers, and chicken. Please bring a side dish or dessert to share.
